Valentine?-- Pamper day!

Hello everyone,

How was Valentine's Day to everyone? Over the years the idea of valentine's day has changed a lot! It is more of showing off love and actually meaning it. My birthday is on the 13th of February just a day before V-Day! I've always had cakes on my birthday but now as I grow old just with the numbers I felt like I don't want a cake this year so I had a small family dinner at a fancy restaurant after I came back from work! It was different from what I usually do with my friends and treating them meals and getting gifts. Didn't get any materialistic gift that day but I felt happy to be with family and having dinner out of home no troubles for Mom and nice quality time with my family!
I am telling you this because the day I was born is valentine's day eve, many lovers must have high expectation from one and another and trying hard to meet each other's expectation. There's tension and expectation at the same time. Couples will be trying to spend time together then on the other hand there will be single expecting a proposal. Looking at a brighter side we are celebrating love. Love not only in the sense of couple and relationships but overall love for all. But this world has changed the idea of this day. One sees obvious that when a male and female is walking on the streets or having a snack in a restaurant that they are in relationship. Despite the age difference they assume them to be couple. The idea of this day is change for sure.

I don't know what I wanted to say above but it was just what came to mind and I just typed them down. Anyway for me it was a new start of a new year since it was after my birthday. I didn't have any plans so I just went to work like usual and later in the afternoon pampered myself with steam and sauna bath. It was a cold day! Posted a Selfie with caption "no plans". But after work while I was heading home I came across my old work place a book shop so I planned to end the day there. I took some Eclaires Buns in a box as if I was buying it for my date and then surprised them. The boss there was a book publisher so it was obvious that he had good network with the authors and many good people so I have been thinking no matter what trouble my life has been giving me I've been placed in good places in my journey of my life and I just need to connect the dots like Steve Job Said!

Hope everyone is able to see life positively and appreciate the gift!
